Ad/Brochure Design

From small design firms to large universities,
I have experience working with a variety of teams to create advertising solutions varying from one page ads to multiple page brochures. From newspaper and magazine ad placement, to selecting paper stock and print quotes, my experience lies with all aspects of the design process.

Photography/Photo Retouching
​
The photographic ability I possess comes from art direction and including photo manipulation via expert-level Photoshop skills. I also have some experience with product shot setup
(Belk Stores).

Web Graphics & Design
​
My experience lies with preparing graphics for websites and working in CMS as well as creating websites with Adobe Dreamweaver.
I have learned some HTML and CSS while pursuing a Web Design Certificate at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Indoor/Outdoor Display
​
Some of my best creative work came from the displays I did for Kennesaw State University. From indoor vinyl banners to outdoor metal signs, I enjoyed the opportunity to create visuals on an oversized scale. I have prepared a few graphics for trade shows/conferences as well (ShelfGenie, The University of Alabama).

Logo Design & Branding

I have created numerous logos over the past 25 years, ranging from university branding (The University of Alabama, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at KSU, The Course continuing education catalog) to small local businesses (A Tax Services, United Search & Placement, TCCIPA).

Page Layout/Catalog
​
My page layout skills, including catalog design, I have used perhaps the longest. I am very comfortable with it. I have designed and put together catalogs and newsletters for KSU, ShelfGenie and The University of Alabama. As well as freelance designed a large portion of the January and February 2012 issues of Chrysler Power magazine.
